Abbass Hojeij

Student Intern

I am a student therapist currently pursuing a Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Yorkville University. I am deeply passionate about helping individuals navigate their personal challenges. With over 10 years of experience in education, working with youth, teens, adults, and families, I have developed a strong foundation in fostering personal growth and facilitating relief from emotional distress, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.

My approach to therapy is integrative, drawing from narrative theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while maintaining flexibility by utilizing tools from various modalities to tailor my practice to each patient’s unique needs.

I believe in creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where patients can explore their stories, confront challenges, and build resilience. I am particularly committed to working with diverse populations and supporting individuals from all walks of life.
